We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Demand and Delivery team in the Netherlands.
You will be responsible for managing and delivering projects across various domains, including Entertainment, Connectivity, B2B, IT, Fixed Network, AI, Security, and Partner Service Markets.
The role ensures that products and projects are developed, launched, and maintained to meet Liberty Global’s strategic goals. This position requires close collaboration with our Strategic Supplier Infosys and country teams to ensure alignment and effective delivery.
The focus areas for this role include:Project Management: Deliver projects efficiently, adhering to agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with country teams, Infosys, and other internal and external stakeholders.Process Improvement: Enhance delivery frameworks, ensuring continuous alignment with our governance standards.Team Collaboration: Lead matrixed teams to achieve project goals, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.Key AccountabilitiesProject & Program Management
Plan, organize, and oversee the delivery of demands, releases, products, and projects to align with our strategic objectives. Monitor and manage demand and delivery processes, including planning, reporting, risk management, and financial oversight. Ensure project outcomes meet agreed-upon metrics and are delivered within scope, budget, and timeframes.
ProcessesImplement and enhance our project portfolio management (PPM) framework. Ensure compliance with governance standards and continuous improvement of lifecycle documentation. Support demand management and lessons learned reviews to refine future project delivery.
Engagement & CollaborationBuild trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including partner company management teams and vendors. Act as a liaison between delivery teams and senior management, ensuring alignment on objectives and progress. Provide timely and accurate decision-support information to steering committees and governance forums.
Team ManagementManage distributed teams, including Liberty Global staff, Infosys, and vendor teams. Foster knowledge sharing within the Demand and Delivery team to promote best practices and continuous learning. Balance competing demands from product teams and delivery resources to achieve optimal outcomes.
Commercial & Financial ManagementSupport financial planning, including cost estimation and budget management. Ensure adherence to commercial standards and reporting requirements. Contribute to the development of financial documents such as Statements of Work and commercial project plans.
What will you bringKnowledge & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field, such as Telecommunications, IT, or Project ManagementShown experience of managing technical products and projects, preferably in telecommunications, cable, or media industries.Proven ability to deliver large and complex projects with budgets exceeding €100M and distributed teams.Expertise in project management methodologies, such as PRINCE2 and Agile frameworks (certification preferred).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for building delivery plans and balancing demand with capacity.Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage and influence stakeholders.Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable in a global matrix working environment.Strong financial acumen to evaluate business cases and manage budgets effectively.Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Fluency in English; proficiency in other European languages is a plus.Resilience and ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics.This role is ideal for individuals who excel in managing complexity, driving outcomes, and fostering collaboration across diverse teams.
