Project Manager Design and Development - US

Key contact between Shake Shack Enterprises and our licensed partners in the United States and around the world.
Key Responsibilities
Manages the Shake Shack licensing design and construction process from end to end with all of our licensed partners; domestically and internationally. Manages the development pipeline for all licensed Shacks. This includes moving potential sites through the Licensed real estate approval committee and keeping the 5-year development plan up to date. Creating and executing a comprehensive plan to reduce the cost of building a Shack through vendor management and strategic sourcing initiatives. Coordinates and collaborates with the domestic design and construction team to keep the Shake Shack design manual in line with brand standards and guidelines for use with our partners. Identifying the future needs of the Shake Shack model and working within innovation teams to evolve the current versions of the Shack to the future. Conduct site visits at key project milestones to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with brand and code requirements Oversee refurbishments of existing locations, ensuring brand standards and operational needs are met This role requires 20-30% travelKnowledge, Skills, Abilities
Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects at varying stages Proficiency in relevant software such as BlueBeam, AutoCAD, Adobe Acrobat, and the Adobe Suite Strong negotiation skills and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including architects, equipment/material vendors, and contractors Excellent stakeholder management skills, ensuring clear communication with both internal teams and external partners Experience in multicultural and international environments is a plusRelated Experience
4+ years of experience in construction / project management or related role. Prior experience in restaurant, hospitality, or retail development preferred Experience working with licensing or franchise partners is a plusEducation Requirements
