Project Manager Electric Utilities Job Details Job Location Boswell Engineering NJ - South Hackensack, NJ Remote Type Hybrid Job Category Management Project Manager Electric Utilities Electric Utility Project Manager and Senior Project Manager - Mainly remote in NJ or MD/ VA with site and office visits as needed Due to continued growth, Boswell Engineering is seeking 2 additional Project Managers or Senior Project Manager(s) with Transmission and/ or Substation project experience in the electric utility industry. Our Utilities Project Management Team is an exciting and fast-growing Team with numerous growth and training opportunities. Responsibilities: + Project managers will be assigned projects that range from replacing a breaker at a substation to building an entire new substation and/or relocating or upgrading transmission lines (preferred experience up to and exceeding 500kV) + Typical substation projects may be breaker replacement, cap bank heaters, bus work, transformer replacement, control house rehab or replacement, extending a substation yard, or a new substation + Typical transmission line projects may be replacing insulators, replacing the OPGW, adding circuits, or a new transmission line • Project managers may also be assigned transmission line routing studies + Client will provide all of the necessary training for both the project management system that is utilized and all of the mandated client safety training and FERC training + Adhere to internal standards, policies and procedures Qualifications: + BS Degree in Engineering is preferred + Formal project management training is required with PMP Certification preferred + At least five (5) years of project management experience in managing medium to high to extra high voltage substation and/or transmission line projects + Client requires US Citizenship or Green Card for site access AAP/EEO Statement Boswell Engineering is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer.
