Leidos Engineering has an opportunity for a Project Manager who will work alongside lead engineers and account managers supporting various electric utility clients. The Project Manager will be part of an established Project Management Office within our Power Delivery Solutions division that provides consulting services to public-owned and investor-owned electric utilities for comprehensive engineering design of electrical transmission, substation, and distribution projects nationwide.
This position may be remote in nature, but candidates must be located in the Northeastern United states in order to be considered. Candidates commutable to the greater Detroit, MI area will be preferred. This allows Leidos to best serve our utility customers as needed. Local/Regional travel may be required on an as needed basis.

Assist project teams in completing engineering design of various sized electric infrastructure projects for public-owned and investor-owned electric utility customersBe responsible for overall project performance and reportingManage project costs, schedule and scope, including the development of recovery plans to stay within approved limitsEnsure contract complianceDrive work products by coordinating and working with Engineering Leads and Managers to track and execute client deliverablesEnsure and document adherence to the quality control processInterface directly with the client and internal management to solve issues and report progress, costs, schedule adherence and risks across a program of projectsCommunicate with clients, internal project teams, multiple engineering disciplines, functional leaders, subcontractors, and support personnelAssist with the preparation of bid documents, development of cost estimates and responses to Requests For ProposalComplete monthly client invoicing, accruals, and accounts receivable within prescribed time framesAssist your team in identifying potential business development opportunitiesWhat You'll Bring to the Table (Required Qualifications):
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Finance or a closely related discipline is requiredA minimum of 3 years of relevant Project Management experienceDemonstrated Experience with project management software (e.g., Workfront, MS Project, P6)Experience with MS Office Software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); Ability to demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookup, etc) is preferredDemonstrated experience managing project financials, scopes, and schedulesMust have the capability to plan, organize, direct, and track technical efforts on project tasksMust have the capability to understand, plan, monitor and report project financial performanceStrong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task effectivelyYou Might Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):
