HDR is seeking an engineer to serve as a Project Manager Engineering Assistant on Nashville’s East Bank Program Management Team.

In the role of Project Manager Engineering Assistant, we'll count on you to:

Coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project’s life cycle (from development and initiation to close-out), while under supervision of the Program and/or Project ManagersResponsible for management of small projects to larger initiatives.Coordinate workload through project execution and complete deliverables on budget and scheduleWork with the Program and/or Project Managers, Accounting, Operational and Business leadership for periodic program and/or project reviewsAssist the Program Manager on all aspects of the multidiscipline team for the East Bank Program including the development and execution of strategic initiatives.Assist the Deputy Program Manager - Engineering on all aspects of engineering oversight, design reviews, concept development, and production.Lead special assignments/projects related to planning, engineering, and program management. Assist in the coordination of efforts and strategies across several City departments, the Mayor’s Office, NDOT, TDOT, MTA, state and federal agencies, outside consultants, and contractors.Assist with the implementation and use of the Capital Project Management System including Oracle Primavera Cloud and Unifier. Participation in Professional Organizations to help establish and provide recognition of HDR in the local market.The successful candidate will report to HDR’s Brentwood office until the East Bank Program Management Office in/near downtown Nashville becomes available.

Preferred Qualifications PMP certificationRequired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering 5 years related experience Professional  Engineer (PE) license MS Office and MS Project experience (Access experience would be plus) An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
