Project Manager Facility
Leads and manages all Engineering & Construction renovation projects. Coordinate work with outside consultants, contractors, internal resources, and plant engineering. Reports to Sr. Program Manager, Engineering & Construction, overseeing project administration, budget, and schedules. The Project Manager is responsible for providing management and technical support for project development, contract and procurement activities, various federal, state, and local regulations, and Agency policy requirements. Work with the department’s CAD operator to coordinate all as-builts from projects into the master CAD plan.   This position assists with directing both short- and long-term project planning, project scheduling and implementation, program and project development, project control and monitoring, budget review, and adherence. The Project Manager is accountable for maintaining all project records, project information management, monitoring of the project budget, project contracts, procurement, design development, construction progress and serving as point of contact for all site-related project activities. The project manager is responsible to ensure that all infection control and life safety measures are followed by contractors, and related ICRA/ALSM permits are completed in a timely manner.   This position works closely with design and construction staff, contractors, city and county representatives, and authorities who have jurisdiction in resolving project development and implementation issues. The Project Manager is a key position in the Engineering and construction department. This individual is central to the actions taken to advance the organization’s strategic vision through the execution of the project portfolio under Engineering and construction.   Annual Salary Range: $79,913.60 - $117,873.60    Qualifications  Education: Requires a bachelor's degree in business management or a related field or an equivalent combination of training and progressively responsible experience that will result in the required specialized knowledge and abilities to perform the assigned work. Experience: Requires one (1) to five (5) years of managing construction-related projects and/or three (3) years of business environment experience detailing initiatives, strategy planning, process re-engineering, etc. Certification/Licensure: PMP certification is preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Requires extensive knowledge of all phases of project management, construction, and hospital maintenance.   Must possess excellent organizational, managerial, and decision-making/problem-solving skills.   Good verbal and written communication skills are required to coordinate several projects simultaneously.  Requires the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.
