Project Manager - Financial Systems

Description We are seeking a Project Manager for Financial Systems in the banking industry, based in NEW YORK, New York. This role involves managing a variety of projects across the Leveraged Finance Portfolio. This is a long term contract position where you will be actively involved in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, from architectural design to systems integration testing.
Responsibilities:
• Participate in application security remediation and architectural design and info security reviews
• Identify Infrastructure and technology requirements, build technical specifications from Business Requirements
• Manage forecasts/variances in Insight, and transfer funds through Delivery hub change requests
• Develop and update project plans, initiate projects, and publish weekly project tasks and statuses
• Create and coordinate approvals of RDTs, UDF documents including Capex checklist, Vendor Checklist, Expense Form, Contract form
• Manage internal fund transfers in case of deficits in Opex/Capex funds
• Initiate Gate 3, Gate 4, and Gate 5 reviews, prepare gate artifacts and coordinate reviews with sponsors for sign-offs
• Collaborate with Domains Infosec, Appsec, Infrastructure, CAM, and CDO for reviews
• Create SAT, ASTF – SAST/DAST/Pentest, and manage change management efforts for deployment
• Engage with project stakeholders, maintain stakeholder communications, and manage stakeholder engagement
• Oversee financial forecasting, variance analysis, and manage project budgets. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a project management role within the banking industry.
• Proven skills in application support and leveraged finance.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Waterfall.
• Demonstrated ability in change management and project planning.
• Experience in project initiation and execution.
• Proficient in project stakeholder management including stakeholder communications and engagement.
• Capable of financial forecasting and updating forecasts.
• Experience in monthly variance and variance analysis.
• Knowledge of capital expenditure (CapEx) and project budgets.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience in system integration testing and integration testing.
• Ability to create business requirement documents and perform requirements gathering.
