Project Manager (Garrett, Indiana)
**Seeking Project Manager with** **Minimum of 10 years** **manufacturing** **industry experience in** **construction, steel** **, and / or** **manufacturing i** **ndustries.** **_**Other industry will NOT be considered!!!_** **Position Summary** The Project Manager is the primary interface between the customer and internal resources. They are responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals. **Primary Responsibilities** + Develop, implement, and administer projects upon release of orders from Sales. + Coordinates Engineering, Sales, and Manufacturing teams to develop drawings and fabrication schedules in accordance with customer and contract requirements. + Effectively schedules incoming orders to ensure scheduled delivery dates are met. + Transfers orders between company plants as appropriate. + Maintains records control to assure organized and accurate records retention. + Manages scope changes, change orders, credit memos, and customer complaints. + Monitors job status on a daily basis. + Provides accurate order status information as required. + Develops and maintains relationships with suppliers. + Resolves complicated customer issues with little or no assistance. + All other duties as assigned by management. **Education** + 4-year degree, preferably in Engineering. + Master’s degree in Engineering / MBA is preferred. **Experience** + 5 years progressive experience in Project Management or Production Management. + Minimum of 10 years manufacturing industry experience in construction, steel, and / or manufacturing industries. + Kaizen, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing experience a plus. **Interpersonal Skills** + Must possess solid communication skills, including the ability to write in a clear and concise manner + Must be able to resolve conflict, both internal and external, when it occurs. + Must demonstrate leadership including inspiring trust, mentoring, motivating, and positive reinforcement + Must possess solid negotiating skills + Must maintain a positive attitude and must facilitate teamwork **Technical Skills** + Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical data, including technical drawings + Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions + Computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite and functional knowledge of ERP systems (Syteline) + Superior analytical skills **Other Skills** + Ability to effectively plan and organize multiple projects concurrently + Attention to detail + High standard of personal integrity + Skilled at influencing worker behavior + Ability to maintain professional partnerships with customers and coworkers + The ability to follow direction or instruction + Ability to travel on company business up to 25% **Pay Details:** $90,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to https://www.adecco.com/en-us/candidate-privacy The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable: + The California Fair Chance Act + Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance + Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers + San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance
