Project Manager - High-Rise Condominium

Job Overview:

The Project Manager is to assist the Management with the coordination and oversight of construction projects in the property.


Your Responsibilities:

Works closely with vendors and contractors to coordinate and monitor projects, repairs, and punch list items. Develop strong work relationships with your team members and vendors. Create, request, and file RFP, quotes, proposals, Project plans, reports, and other documents. Follow up with vendors, contractors, and inspectors. Schedule all project-related inspections/meetings/walkthroughs. Organizes and maintains file system, and files correspondence and other records related to the projects. Prepares outgoing mail and correspondence, including e-mail and faxes. Works closely with the Chief Engineer on inspections. File and manage all processing, completing and maintaining accurate file documentation. Hold and protect Association records. Assist and actually manage all project complaints and issues on construction. Problem-solving and result-oriented work performance. Assist and manage other projects as needed. Assists and manage other duties as assigned by the Property Manager and CHENG according to the planned schedule and outstanding projects. Conduct regular meetings with clients to ensure clarification and meet specific requirements in a timely manner. Delegate tasks to team members according to their individual skill sets, experience, and abilities to ensure efficient completion of the project. Maintain budgets and report adjustments according to needs as they arise. Track performance and analyze the completion of key goals. Document and report project progress on the weekly basis. Strong Leadership skills, logical thinking, and result-oriented mindset. Overall involvement of daily processes of Association and building itself. Assist and coordinate emergency & seasonal preparations. Coordinate activities with board members and members of the Engineering Committee.

 

 

Skills & Qualifications:

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree of Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field. 2-4 years of experience in project/construction management. Strong knowledge of building electrical and mechanical laws and codes. Knowledge of MS Office, including Project, is a must. Preferred Qualifications: PE License and or PMP. Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team

 

 

Physical Requirements:

 

Physical demands include ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Standing, sitting, walking and occasional climbing. The employee is required to work at a personal computer for extended periods of time as well as talking on the phone for extended periods of time. Ability to detect auditory and/or visual emergency alarms. Ability to work extended/flexible hours and weekends based on project requirements. Driving when necessary. Ability to respond to emergencies on a timely manner.

Additional Information 

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm

Compensation: $80,000 Annual
