The objective of this position is to manage individuals in providing general administrative, human resources, and project support; to include being the primary focal point for administrative support requirements in support of the Director, Operational Test and Evaluation (DOT&E) Front Office, the Principal Deputy, the DOT&E Deputy Directors, the Science Advisor to DOT&E, and the respective DOT&E staffs and special activities. Take guidance from the DOT&E Director for Administration in all areas of responsibility. Work with the DOT&E Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) on all matters related to contract management and administration.
Responsibilities
As the Project Manager, you’ll oversee ADM’s contract with DOT&E, providing administrative, human resources, contract administration, and security support.
Manages the administrative/operational leadership of a project within the program guidelines set by the Project Manager and customer.
Serve as supervisor of 12 contract employees to ensure adherence to DOT&E quality standards and requirements, deadlines, and proper procedures, correcting any errors or issues before they escalated into visible problems to the customer.
Maintain direct interview and hiring authority for all contract employees, as well as coordinating with Headquarters staff to determine manpower resource requirements and recruit new employees who would provide the best fit with the contract team and with the broader client organization.
Implement an initial training program for new hires that would provide the knowledge required to fill the position.
Prepare and coordinate all ADM personnel actions and contract-related financial and accounting expenditures, including promotions, awards, salary adjustments, and any additional education and training that was required.
Manage all contract-related scheduling, including requests for leave, and reviewed time and attendance submissions for accuracy and billing purposes.
Maintain oversight of DOT&E’s correspondence management process. I manage, review, and process all incoming and outgoing correspondence, materials, publications, regulations, directives, and suspense items received via various DoD systems, including the Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS), DoD Issuance Portal System (DoDIPS), and Joint Staff Action Process – Next Generation (JSAP-N).
Qualifications
Must have a minimum of two (2) years' experience in an office environment doing comparable administrative tasks or a bachelor's degree.
Experience with data collection, processing, and analysis.
Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Pleasant, tactful and professional attitude and appearance.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
U.S. Citizenship.
Desired Qualifications:
