Overview TRC Advanced Energy (TRC) is a nationally known energy efficiency consultancy. TRC collaborates with clients to develop and implement market transforming programs and initiatives that promote energy efficiency, renewable energy, and green building in multiple market sectors across the US and around the world. These initiatives reduce energy costs, improve the health and safety conditions of buildings, while also helping the environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions. TRC acts nationally to address some of our country’s most challenging problems: global climate change and energy independence. TRC desires to hire a Project Manager 1 focused on NYSERDA’s irect administration of the New York School Bus Incentive Program (NYSBIP), which is a $500M incentive program to fund zero emission school buses. Position will manage application process, data requests, and related program implementation duties under oversight of NYSERDA Program Manager. Responsibilities Become an expert on NYSBIP rules, policies and procedures; Attend regular meetings with program support consultants, NYSERDA support staff, external agencies and other stakeholders as it relates to program administration; Coordinate with NYSBIP support contractor managing applications, track applications; Update NYSBIP program rules as necessary and in response to industry trends; Fulfill program data reporting requirements and freedom of information law (FOIL) requests; and Develop working relationships with key stakeholders such as NY school bus dealers and manufacturers Qualifications Minimum of a Bachelors degree required Familiarity with alesforce, NEIS (PeopleSoft product), Microsoft Office, Tableau and Sharepoint Demonstrated problem-solving ability, curiosity, resourcefulness, and adaptability. Strong project management skills and attention to detail in regard to understanding program rules and exercising good judgement. Must work collaboratively with internal team members and positively interact with outside stakeholders, including school districts, local governments, and community based organization. Must be comfortable in handling calls/meetings with external program applicants and troubleshooting issues that may arise. Comfort directing workflow of contracted program implementation of staff. Good organization and ability to prioritize is essential; Ability to stay organized and follow/set processes for managing many projects is essential. Strong IT system fluency or ability to learn systems quickly, specifically Salesforce and NYSERDA financial IT systems. General understanding of clean transportation, shared mobility, transit, and/or electric mobility is preferred. Previous experience in managing incentive or other customer-facing programs. Contract management, budgeting and administrative skills are helpful. Experience with the EV market and/or zero emission vehicles is a plus. Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.
