**CTG is seeking to fill a Project Manager I opening for our client in New York.**
**Location:** Remote
**Duration:** 9 months
**Overview:**
Under the direction of a more senior Project Manager, the Project Manager I will manage multiple small-sized projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget while maintaining accurate project plans. The candidate will support the Digital Delivery (PMO) team on two Executive-sponsored strategic initiatives.
**Key responsibilities include:**
+ Managing the Risk & Issues log, tracking progress, following up with owners, and escalating concerns as needed.
+ Scheduling and facilitating meetings, including note-taking.
+ Preparing executive materials and decks for program meetings.
+ Updating and coordinating project plans.
+ Communicating effectively across various levels and roles within the organization.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Manage multiple small projects under the guidance of a senior Project Manager.
+ Establish project objectives, roles, and responsibilities for team members.
+ Develop and maintain project plans, including work breakdown, budget, schedule, and communication strategies.
+ Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document detailed project requirements.
+ Communicate project plans to ensure alignment among stakeholders.
+ Monitor project performance, track progress, and take corrective action as needed.
+ Implement risk mitigation strategies and support team cohesion.
+ Assist in larger project initiatives as directed.
+ Ensure compliance with company risk and regulatory standards.
**Scope of Responsibilities:**
+ Manage assigned projects from initiation to closure, ensuring scope, objectives, and stakeholder expectations are met.
+ Coordinate activities among team members, ensuring alignment with project goals.
+ Identify and escalate risk-related issues as necessary.
**Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:**
+ Allocate work as a team leader and ensure quality and timely completion of deliverables.
**Education and Experience Required:**
+ Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience in general management, project analysis, or project management, including at least 1 year of project management experience.
+ OR, in lieu of a degree:
+ A combined minimum of 4 years of higher education and/or work experience, including at least 2 years in general management, project analysis, or project management, with at least 1 year in project management.
+ Proficiency with personal computers and relevant software packages.
+ Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to drive deliverables.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage with various levels of the organization.
+ Familiarity with Agile practices and tools (e.g., Jira, Targetprocess, Confluence) and proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $82,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors, including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market conditions, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefits package is also offered.
