The Opportunity:  

Pharma Services Project Manager responsible for various projects of a moderately complex nature. Interfaces with all areas affected or supporting the Pharma Services Business. Responsible for assembling project time, assigning individual
responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedule to ensure timely completion of project. Monitors projects in the central repository. Works with the Sr. Portfolio Manager compiling, managing, and presenting data.

Key Responsibilities:

Manages Pharma Services project team information to support contracts for Pharma Services

Accountable for implementation on projects in the following areas: Project risk management; Critical path analysis; Scenario creation and analysis; Budget; Robust planning

Ability to identify and communicate issues proactively to a wide range of stakeholders

Creates, coordinates and maintains integrated project plans • Identifies gaps, potential bottlenecks or delays, challenges assumptions and proposes options to close gaps and get projects back on schedule

Manages meetings to include setting agendas, organizing meeting time and meeting minutes

Consistently executes project management processes, and may lead improvement initiatives

Follows best practices in project teams and fosters continuous improvement by sharing knowledge and continuous exchange

Performs other duties as assigned and supports the PHCS lifecycle as needed

Ensures all elements of data are accurate and conform to data rules defined by management. Makes recommendations for improving quality of Data and the process itself. Acts to ensure the integrity of the data quality across systems.

Performs on-going assessments portfolio data changes to anticipate the impact on other areas of business

Who you are:

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in a closely related business area. ​

2 years related business experience.

2 years project management experience or project support experience with demonstrated ability to lead and manage a project independently.

Participation in an approved accelerated development, fellowship or rotational program may be considered in lieu of experience

Preferred Qualifications:

PMP Certification

SCRUM Certification

SAFE AGILE Certification

Problem solving skills and ability to coordinate project related activities

Strong written and oral communication skills

Basic stakeholder management and facilitation skills

Proficient in MS Project and/or Project & Portfolio Management Tool & Tableau (is a plus)

Ability to manage projects with ambitious milestones

Ability to escalate and drive management decisions in relation to project execution and resource needs

Understanding of relevant Design Control and/or Phased Development processes

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Tucson, AZ is $64,500 - $119,900.  Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.  This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
