Project Manager II

Role Proficiency:

Perform end-to-end management of a single or portfolio of projects with TCV 500K - $1Mn in deliverables based or outcome-based model by delivering the agreed scope within the agreed timelines and cost. Fully ensuring the success and acceptance criteria of the project are met and customer satisfaction is enhanced.

schedule dependencies and manage them following the proper risk management plan Identify options to fast track the schedule and plans to implement the same Estimate the work

Risk/Issue management:

QE Service Manager is responsible for leading quality engineering services within an organization, ensuring that products meet the required quality standards and that testing processes are efficient, effective, and aligned with business needs. This role involves managing a team of quality engineers, overseeing testing strategies, driving process improvements, and ensuring high-quality service delivery Key Responsibilities: Team Management & Leadership: o Lead, mentor, and manage a team of quality engineers and testers, providing guidance and career development opportunities. o Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement, ensuring that the team remains focused on delivering high-quality results. Service Delivery Management: o Oversee the delivery of QE services, ensuring that all quality engineering activities are completed on time, within scope, and in accordance with business objectives. o Define, implement, and monitor service-level agreements (SLAs) for quality engineering services. o Manage the allocation of resources across various testing projects to ensure optimal utilization and timely delivery. Quality Assurance & Testing: o Oversee the development and execution of testing strategies, ensuring that they align with the organization's business goals. o Ensure comprehensive test plans are created, executed, and documented for all software products and services. o Coordinate and manage functional, regression, performance, integration, and user acceptance testing activities. o Review and ensure that all testing activities meet established quality standards and are documented effectively. Qualifications: • Experience: o 5+ years of experience in quality engineering, software testing, or quality assurance. o 5+ years of experience in managing a team of quality engineers or testers. o Proven track record in managing service delivery for quality engineering functions, including end-to-end testing processes. o Experience working with Agile or other software development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall). • Skills: o Strong understanding of quality engineering principles, test automation, and software testing best practices. o Proficiency in using testing tools and platforms such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Jira, etc. o Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems. o Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams. • Certifications: o ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) certification is preferred. o Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master) are a plus. Preferred Skills: • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes. • Knowledge of performance testing and tools (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter). • Familiarity with security testing and tools. • Experience in working with cloud-based applications and platforms.
