Project Manager II
**CTG is seeking to fill a Project Manager II opening for our client in Buffalo, NY.** **Location:** Buffalo, NY **Duration:** 9 months **Overview:** CTG is seeking a skilled Project Manager II to manage projects with multiple interfaces or initiatives, or one larger project affecting two business or functional areas. The selected candidate will oversee project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques to maintain accuracy and facilitate customer acceptance. **Primary Responsibilities:** + Manage projects with multiple interfaces or initiatives, or a larger project impacting two business or functional areas, from initiation through close. + Develop project plans, forecasts, and schedules while working with stakeholders to document detailed project requirements, constraints, and assumptions. + Ensure project plans include work breakdown structures, cost/budget tracking, communication strategies, risk assessments, quality control, and resource allocation. + Effectively communicate project plans to all affected parties, ensuring alignment and expectation-setting among stakeholders. + Execute project tasks according to the established plan, manage budgets and forecasts, and monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques. + Implement approved actions and workarounds to mitigate project risks. + Foster team cohesion by leading, mentoring, training, and motivating project team members to ensure efficiency and morale. + Support larger project initiatives under the direction of higher management. + Maintain compliance with company risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls. + Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the company’s brand. **Scope of Responsibilities:** + Responsible for overseeing projects affecting two business or functional areas. + Must ensure familiarity with project scope, objectives, and team responsibilities. + Adhere to internal control standards, implementing necessary corrective actions as needed. **Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:** + Provides leadership and supervision for team members in all project-related activities. **Education and Experience Required:** + Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of proven project management, project analysis, or general management experience, OR + In lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 5 years of higher education and/or work experience, including at least 3 years of project management, project analysis, or general management experience, with at least 2 years specifically in project management. + Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment. + Strong proficiency in PowerPoint. + Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of leadership. + Proficiency with personal computers and relevant software packages. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
