Project Manager II_IT
We are looking for an IT Project Manager Location: Waukegan IL Duration 12+ month Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with 5+ years of experience using standard IT methodologies and a proven track record of leading medium and small projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in project planning, implementation, and the ability to manage and be accountable for multiple projects simultaneously. Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Oversee and manage the execution of IT projects from initiation to closure, including project investigations, requirements gathering, scope definition, schedule and task management, and risk analysis. Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring resources are appropriately allocated and project milestones are met. Scope & Quality Management: Define, manage, and control the scope of projects; ensure quality standards are adhered to while meeting timelines and budgets. Stakeholder Communication: Maintain consistent communication with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, ensuring project status is effectively reported and any issues are promptly addressed. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve IT processes to enhance project delivery and operational efficiency. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations and other applicable regulatory requirements, as well as company policies and procedures. Risk & Change Management: Proactively manage project risks and implement contingency plans where necessary. Effectively manage project scope changes. Collaboration: Maintain positive relationships and collaborate with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors to drive successful project outcomes. Qualifications: Experience: 5+ years of IT experience with proven project leadership in a fast-paced environment. Minimum of 5 years managing medium and small projects using standard IT methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile). Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-division business model is preferred. Experience with healthcare applications is a plus. Skills: Strong experience with MS Project, Excel, Word, and Visio. Excellent planning, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with various levels of the organization. Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse environment. Strong ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a timely manner. Solid experience in project planning, scheduling, task management, and problem-solving. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
