Job Summary:
As a Project Manager II within our Professional Services team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and coordinating software implementation projects from initiation to successful delivery. You will work closely with clients, cross-functional teams, and project sponsors to ensure projects are executed on time, within scope (quality deliverables and customer experience), and within budget. This position offers the opportunity to gain hands-on project management experience in a dynamic environment, with an emphasis on communication, task coordination, budget ownership, and problem-solving.Responsibilities:Set scope, timeline, and deliverables to ensure a successful deployment for multiple customersAbility to organize a portfolio of multiple projects for tracking and deliveryAct as the primary point of contact for clients on day-to-day project matters, ensuring clear and consistent communicationTrack project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure projects stay on scheduleCoordinate cross-functional teams, including technical, product, implementation, and customer success teams, to align project efforts.Assist in resolving project issues and escalating any risks to senior management or clients when necessaryParticipate in the sales process as neededSupport Statement of Work creation on an as-needed basisOccasionally travel to customer sites to conduct training and solidify customer relationshipsAssist in enhancing our methodology of project delivery of our growing set of solutionsRequirements and Preferred Experience:Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field (preferred), or equivalent experience.Minimum of 2 years of project management or related experience in a SaaS environmentStrong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and work under tight deadlines.Familiarity with software implementation processes and lifecycle management.Problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Technical aptitude and proficiency with Professional Services and CRM toolsStrong aptitude of technology tools and solutionsStrong initiative, innovative thinking skills, and ability to analyze details and translate into the “big picture” viewAbility to adapt to a rapidly changing product and respond strategically to customer needsExperience in software implementation, IT project management, or related roles.PMP or CAPM certification, or willingness to obtain within 12 months.Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.Experience working in a client-facing role.Proficiency with project management tools (e.g. Rocketlane, Jira).Experience with government budgeting concepts and practices and/or finance/budgeting solutions$75,000 - $100,000 a yearOn target ranges above include base plus a portion of variable compensation that is earned based on company and individual performance.
