Our industry-leading communications client is seeking a Project Manager. This is a contract to hire position. _Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance._ Rate: $55 - $65 / hr. w2 **Responsibilities:** + Manages the entire project lifecycle from project definition through implementation. + Accountable for meeting agreed upon scope, cost, schedule and quality measures. + Develops project plan and drives project milestones. + Establishes effective communication plan with project team and key stakeholders. + Provides day-to-day direction to project resources. + Ensures effective change management occurs throughout the course of the project. + Responsible for preparation of documentation, status reports and budgets. **Experience Requirements:** + Ability to create and maintain project plans. + Understand the SDLC approach and the high-level activities. + Technical understanding will be a plus but not mandatory - this is not an IT project manager position. + Ability to articulate project progress effectively and highlight concerns with potential mitigations in a timely manner. + Able to manage assigned work with minimal support. + Able to work in a team setting and liaise with multiple stakeholders and technical teams (if required). + Project status reporting - at times will present PowerPoint deck to Leadership team + Previous Telecom experience would be nice but not required. + Role requires excellent oral and written communications, interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis and problem-solving skills. + Specialized knowledge of MS Project, Visio, Excel, Word. + 5-10 years of experience. _Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate.
