Project Manager in Training - Homebuilding

The Phoenix Division of David Weekley Homes is looking to expand our residential construction Project Management Team. This is a Leadership position wherein the right person will take over the Management of Sales, Construction, and Warranty staff in several subdivisions.  

We believe in setting people up to be successful, so there will be a beneficial training and mentoring period. The Project Manager will go through our Sales, Construction, and Technical training - as well as mentoring -so they can become well acquainted with our Operations.

Key Accountabilities and Objectives: 
(Includes the following and other duties that may be assigned)

Oversees the management and development of Sales, Construction and Warranty Team Members within their communities.Assures that the quality of homes in their area meets company standardsMakes sure that sales and closing objectives are metPossesses an unwavering commitment to Customer SatisfactionDevelops an Annual Operating Plan for their project, maximizing profitability, assuring that margins and goals are metOversees and controls expendituresMaintains a high level of visibility in the home building business, actively participating in promoting their communitiesAssists in resolving any issues that arise in their projectsWorks effectively with developers, our land department, government agencies and Architectural Review Boards
QualificationsA leader who works well with others, is enthusiastic, motivated, energetic, professional and demonstrates integrityA minimum of three years experience within the residential construction/ homebuilding industryTwo or more years or people and project management experience in homebuilding preferredBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Construction Management/Science, Engineering, Real Estate, or related fields
