Project Manager - Institutional Construction - 19049
We’re looking for a Project Managers in the Institutional/Commercial Construction Industry.

Our client is looking to add an experienced Project Manager to the team. This position will make a significant impact and contribute ideas throughout the construction process. The Project Manager is responsible for the successful execution and delivery of projects within budget, on time, and to our companies standards.

Project Manager responsibilities: Provide overall construction management from pre-construction to completion including design, coordination, budget, and schedule in conjunction with the Superintendent. Prepare regular, timely and accurate billings for Owners, and ensure timely payment of subcontractor billings. Meet with Owners, and other Stakeholders in a professional manner and can communicate effectively while maintaining interests of the company. Monitor, interpret and forecast a project’s cost reports ensuring they are in line with the estimate and maintain a positive cash flow. Submit project reports to Area Manager and communicate with management about project progress and areas of risk that need to be escalated. Responsible for project close out including training, inspections, turn over and warranty Support and grow ongoing sub-trade and client relationships The successful candidate has:  A construction related degree/diploma and/or 5+ years of construction experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience. 5 years experience in Commercial and or Institutional projects in a Project manager role School Project experience considered an asset A working knowledge of construction scopes and activities, scheduling, project management and contract software. Ability to confidently develop and maintaining strong client relations and manage multiple priorities Responsible for all aspects of project start up, including but not limited to, finalizing Prime Contract, conducting project startup meetings and prepare project execution plan, resource and staffing plans, and procurement management Collaborate with Preconstruction in preparing, revising, and monitoring information regarding reports related to costs involved in developing the project budget. Monitor the change management process, which includes identifying change events, submitting change notices, pricing and tracking change work, optional changes in project scope, and negotiating change orders with clients. Proven Track record of successfully leading and mentoring teams. Compensation and benefits: The discussed salary range is $100,000 – $140,000, depending on experience Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered Comprehensive benefits package RRSP matching Bonus Structure Only candidates already eligible to work in Canada will be reviewed.
