Project Manager - Intermediate
Job Description Insight Global is looking for an intermediate PM to join a leading bank in downtown Toronto. This role is responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the project sponsor, while adhering to quality standards. The Project Manager mitigates execution risks to achieve desired business results and facilitates effective communication with program/project managers and stakeholders. * Project Leadership: Lead medium to high complexity projects to successful outcomes. * Financial Management: Manage and validate financial forecasts. * Performance Monitoring: Track performance and address issues. * Lifecycle Management: Oversee business, operational, and technology deliverables. * Change Management: Develop and measure change management plans. * Project Artifacts: Create project management artifacts. * Deliverable Control: Monitor and adjust project deliverables. * Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks. * Stakeholder Partnership: Communicate with the project sponsor. * Problem Resolution: Resolve project problems. * Representation: Lead and represent the project in meetings. * Compliance: Adhere to Bank risk, regulatory, and compliance controls. Skills and Requirements - 4-7 years of experience as a Project Manager. - Experience in financial services, preferably with banking environment. - End-to-end project lifecycle management - MS 365 (PowerPoint, excel, word, etc.) for project scheduling and building end-to-end schedules - Proven ability to hit the ground running and manage projects independently. -PMP certification is a plus, but relevant work experience is more important. -Jira and Confluence experience -Implementation experience or big cloud migration project null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
