The Product Management, Launch Operations team is responsible for end-to-end project management of all new products launching across the Samsung Mobile division. We touch all aspects of the process from product management through end retail execution. We are thought leaders in the organization and an extension of the product team. We know our products inside and out, and we also contribute to end of launch feedback on process and execution of the launch overall.
The intern will work with cross-functional teams within the United States and Korea to develop procurement and production timelines to ensure production for phones and accessories are aligned to avoid rush orders and delays.
Skills and Qualifications
Technical Requirements:
Academic Major Preferred (Undergrad and Masters) in Project management, product management, or supply chain.
Attention to detail
Ability to communicate across corporate levels (working level to VP)
Leadership
Adaptability
Critical thinking & Problem solving
Enrolled at an accredited university currently studying or has already completed a bachelor’s degree in a related field of study
Understanding of supply chain, product management, and project management
Experience with project management
Fluent in Korean is a plus (but not required)
