Job Description:
We are seeking a Project Manager with vast experience in the International Money Transfer area.
Payment experience should include FEDWIRES, CHIPS, CHAPS, SEPA, DTA, EURO clearing and Foreign currency.
The payment solution coverage includes the following countries UK, Germany, Belgium, France, Italy and USA.
The Project Manager position will be in the company's Information Technology group.
The candidate must have the ability to work with various levels of business users, other IT staff and the vendor to resolve business and systems issues in a timely manner.
Demonstrated ability to write and communicate requirements to business and technology partners.
Preparation of Project Plans and updates, business specifications documents; collecting requirements, understanding and communicating International Money Transfer requirements with Business Users.
Leading the custom software development process and working with the software vendor closely to ensure all business requirements are met.
Provide project coordination and execution of testing scripts including supervising Unit testing at the vendor site to ensure that quality software code is delivered.
Working with the software vendor to ensure that our Bank’s test scripts produce our expected results.
Liaising between client management and software vendor to ensure that all business requirements are understood. In some cases, coordination between several client teams and vendor may be necessary to clarify custom software requirements.
Manage vendor relationship and communication.
Liaising with the Money Transfer software vendor to address design issues and/or system bugs.
Provide timely updates of the project risks and issues to the project PMO.
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of Project Management experience using MS Project.
3+ years in the financial institution sector specifically in the Money Transfer area dealing with FEDWIRE, CHIPS, SWIFT, CHAPS, SEPA, EURO Clearing.
3+ years supporting a 24 X 5, critical system production environment.
3+ years working with technology vendors to implement product solutions.
Bachelor's Degree in Finance / Mathematics / Computer Science / MIS.
