**Overview** We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced **Project Manager Janitorial Services** to oversee and manage janitorial operations within an educational setting. For information about ABM’s benefits, visit ABM ABM Employee Benefits | Staff & Management (https://wpe-media.abm.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/ABM\_2025\_Employee\_Benefits\_Staff\_&\_Management\_No%20Date%209.5.24.pdf) **Key Responsibilities:** + **Operational Management:** + Develop and implement janitorial strategies that ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of the distribution center. + Manage daily operations of the janitorial staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed to Amazon’s standards. + Oversee the scheduling and deployment of janitorial teams across various shifts to cover all necessary areas of the facility. + **Staff Management:** + Hire, train, and supervise janitorial staff, providing ongoing feedback and support to ensure high performance and efficiency. + Conduct regular performance evaluations and organize training workshops to enhance skill levels of staff. + Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement among team members. + **Quality Control and Compliance:** + Implement quality control measures to ensure that cleaning standards meet or exceed regulations and company expectations. + Conduct regular inspections and audits of the facility to identify areas for improvement and compliance with health and safety regulations. + Respond to and resolve any issues related to cleaning or maintenance swiftly and effectively. + **Project Coordination:** + Manage special cleaning projects, coordinating with other departments and external contractors as necessary. + Ensure seamless communication and coordination among different teams within the facility. + Report regularly to the Facilities Operations Manager on project statuses, challenges, and achievements. **Qualifications:** + **Education:** High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred. + **Experience:** Minimum of 5 years in janitorial or facilities management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role within a large facility or distribution center. + **Skills:** Strong leadership and project management skills, excellent organizational abilities, proficient in MS Office and facility management software, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. **Working Conditions:** + This role may require working in varying environmental conditions (e.g., exposure to heat, cold, noise, etc.). + Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. **Compensation:** Competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications; includes a comprehensive benefits package.
