Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.  The anticipated wage for this position is

$111,000 - $162,800

Lilly is currently constructing an advanced manufacturing facility for production of API molecules located in Lebanon, IN.  This facility is Lilly’s largest investment in manufacturing capacity and is intended to provide APIs for current and future products.  This is a unique opportunity to be a part of the leadership team for the startup of a greenfield manufacturing site, and the successful candidate will help to build the organization, the facility and the culture to enable a successful startup into GMP manufacturing operations. 

Job Description

Project Manager Laboratory Informatics –QC –Lebanon API is an informal leader for cross-functional teams that are formed to improve productivity and core business activities.

Key Objectives/Deliverables

Coordinate with customers to negotiate, prioritize and schedule the implementation of QC laboratory informatics and equipment for routine and non-routine work in QC to achieve business objectives.

Oversee and track multiple project timelines for applications / equipment for implementation across a variety of site locations.

Provide routine updates to QC Management, site Lead Team and CMC Teams

Track and report metrics for the QC Organization

Take initiative to make things better for the company, be aggressive with your work and assertive in your interactions, lead by example and build collaborative relationships

Basic Requirements:

Bachelors in a relevant field or equivalent work experience (e.g., chemistry, pharmacy, engineering)

3+ years previous experience in Project Management (PMP certification preferred)

Additional Preferences:

Demonstrated strong self-management skills

Demonstrated group facilitation and project management skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills including effective presentation skills

Good interpersonal skills

Desire to solve complex problems with use of software tracking tools

Ability to influence cross functionally and across different levels of the organization

Knowledge of safety and GMP requirements

Knowledge of manufacturing / Quality Control environment

Knowledge of Pharmaceutical Requirements for CSV of laboratory applications

Experience with P6 and/or Project Management software platforms

Other Information:

Some travel (domestic and international < 10%)
