Position Overview
International is seeking a Center of Excellence (COE) Project Manager Lead to join our team based out of our world headquarters (WHQ) in Lisle, IL (hybrid)!
The COE Project Manager Lead will support all Supply Chain and Logistics verticals. This role will serve as the Supply Chain and logistics voice for high visibility new programs, major new supplier sourcing, and other high profile strategic business initiatives as required. We are seeking someone with a versatile communication style with executive presence, excellent project management skills, and deep knowledge in Supply Chain and Logistics to help us provide exceptional support and readiness for production and our end customers.
Responsibilities
+ Participate in new program and category management meetings to learn about upcoming launches and studies requiring Supply Chain and Logistics deliverables
+ Communicate about new program and supplier sourcing Supply Chain and Logistics requirements to Supply Chain and Logistics leadership
+ Work with Supply Chain and Logistics Subject Matter Experts (inbound and outbound transportation, material planning, warehousing, packaging, EDI, etc) to identify requirements to support new initiatives
+ Organize projects in a consistent and professional manner as determined by Logistics COE leadership
+ Present Supply Chain and Logistics readiness updates in program reviews, including executive updates as required
+ Communicate Supply Chain and Logistics ratings to procurement and explain rationale behind the ratings
+ Travel to different production locations to build relationships with key stakeholders
+ Monitor key metrics and KPIs for projects post-implementation
+ Conduct lessons learned with SC&L leadership to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
Minimum Requirements
+ Bachelor’s degree
+ At least 5 years of project/program management experience
OR
+ Master’s degree
+ At least 3 years of project/program management experience
OR
+ At least 7 years of project/program management experience
Additional Requirements
+ Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. International Motors does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
Desired Skills
+ Minimum of 5 years’ experience working cross-functionally in project management and supply chain/logistics.
+ Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and Value Stream Mapping (VSM).
+ PMP or PgMP certification preferred.
+ Proficiency in MS Project or other project management tools preferred.
+ Experience with high-profile, cross-brand, and/or global programs.
+ Strong listening skills and ability to translate needs across subject matter experts.
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills at all levels.
+ Experience with and/or training on One PDP.
+ Detail-oriented with strategic thinking, able to operate with minimal supervision.
+ Analytical skills with the ability to identify gaps.
+ Proficiency in MS Office applications.
