Family Health Centers at NYU Langone, a designated Level 3 Medical Home, is the largest federally qualified health center network in New York State, and the second largest in the nation. Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project Manager of Dentistry – 5800 3rd Ave, Brooklyn.

In this role, the successful candidate The Project Manager implements projects in support of the department s operational quality and financial goals This role reports directly to the Director Business Dental Operations within the Dental Medicine Department at Family Health Centers at NYU Langone Health

Job Responsibilities:

Supports projects related to the three mission areas of the department and institution including clinical operations education and research Plans directs and executes projects that support the department s business plan and achievement of operational financial and quality goals effectively communicating and collaborating with relevant stakeholders Analyzes current systems and workflows for opportunities producing recommendations Assesses and tracks high impact business and quality measures across key performance indicators disseminating results Creates models and tools that aid dental leadership at all levels deliver efficient effective and high quality care Assists in the development of strategic plans and executes recommendations and initiatives set by leadership Generates analyses that support the achievement of operational financial and quality goals synthesizing data from a variety of internal and external sources Demonstrates ability to maximize value of projects ensuring operational changes are implemented as well as flexibility and resourcefulness to achieve departmental goals emphasizing data driven decision making Formally and informally presents findings in a timely manner with a compelling business story supporting long term strategic planning Works collaboratively with appropriate departments across the institution nbsp; Develops strategies and plans to address unfavorable performance that promote achieving the department s desired goals and outcomes Collaborates with stakeholders to ensure compliance with policies and procedures the safety and comfort of patients and employees and enforcement of emergency action plans when necessary nbsp; Performs other duties as assigned in support of dental operations

Minimum Qualifications:

To qualify you must have a Bachelors Degree in business administration health care administration or an equivalent experience. Minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible related experience including program/project coordination or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency in using various Microsoft Office Applications such as World Excel Access PowerPoint and Outlook. Effective oral written communication interpersonal skills. Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and must work and communicate effectively with both internal and external customers.

Preferred Qualifications:

A detailed orientated person with good communication and organizational skills. A critical thinker with time management skills and is self directed and motivated.

Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $79,698.01 – $98,280.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
