Project Management – Manage, coordinate and direct a multidisciplinary team throughout all phases of a business development project. Responsibilities include the following:
• Creating a detailed project management plan and key project documents.
• Ensuring that all team members have required information and resources to carry out assigned tasks efficiently.
• Establishing strategic direction of projects, setting milestones, deliverables and deadlines
• Monitoring team progress and keeping project on schedule.
• Ensuring compliance with Company and customer contractual requirements and business needs.
• Identifying, reporting and providing solutions to any project-related issues or problems.
• Tracking project performance using appropriate KPIs or metrics.
• Submitting deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to internal and external quality standards.
Business Development and Industry Research – Research, understand and apply the concepts and best practices of any new business opportunity and recommend/create new business projects that align with the Company’s general business plan. Responsibilities include the following:
• Collecting accurate data regarding potential strategic partners; analyzing market strategies, deal requirements and financials; preparing detailed reports and/or effective business plans for management review.
• Identifying trendsetting ideas by researching industry and related events, publications and announcements and tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.
• Assisting with the implementation of growth strategies and recommending changes to existing business practices to increase exposure and revenue.
