What you will do: The ability to multitask and manage several concurrent projects. Analyzing architectural drawings, interpreting specifications, preparing material take-offs as required, and obtaining quotations & lead times from suppliers to prepare accurate cost estimates to be submitted to the customer. Follow quoted projects through to completion, ensuring that all lead times are met and billing procedures are followed. Prepare submittal packages for approval by architect and/or engineer. Communicate and follow through on all issues with design and timeline to ensure top notch customer service. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and general contractors. Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and participate in educational and training opportunities. These training opportunities may sometimes require out of state travel which will be reimbursed by the company. What you will bring: Minimum 3 years in the Division 8 industry, including prior experience as a project manager. High school diploma or equivalent. Associate's or Bachelor’s degree preferred but will hire any candidate with correct background or experience. Ability to read & interpret architectural specifications & drawings. Applicant must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel. Experience with estimating software such as AVAware, Comsense, Emullion or Pro-tech is also required.
