Project Manager - PKIMC Admin

Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center (PKIMC) is seeking a Project Manager to provide project management support to multiple initiatives within PKIMC, these projects will be key to achieving the strategic vision. Collaboration with the Alaska region may be part of the project management duties.

This position will oversee the Safety, Environment of Care, and Emergency Preparedness programs for the Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center (PKIMC). Responsible for:

Responsible for the planning, development, coordination and implementation of safety, environment of care, safety, and associated programs for the Providence Kodiak ministries. Coordinates with partners both internal to Providence and external across Alaska. Manages and chairs environment of care committee and emergency management committee. Coordinates Providence involvement with Local, State and Federal Emergency Planning exercises as required. Coordinates and supervises emergency preparedness work activities involving external participants, (ex: EMS) and other community work areas, in a manner that minimizes disruptions and inconveniences of the customer. Represents Providence with community partners for assigned bodies of work. Provides general oversight, organization, facilitation and participation in all facility disaster drills in compliance with the Emergency Operations Plan (EOP). Responsible to research, develop, prepare, report and oversee aspects of Emergency Preparedness grant opportunities. Works collaboratively with local, state, federal agencies, and Providence to create goals and ensure compliance with grant requirements. Supports and manages projects for administration on a variety of topics as assigned.

Ideal candidate will have experience in Hospital Compliance, Safety, or Emergency Preparedness.

Position is full-time, 1.0 FTE, Day Shift, Monday-Friday, core business hours, 40 hours per week.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree: Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, Information Services, Planning or a related discipline. One year: Managing multiple concurrent projects and contracts. One year: Leading collaborative, cross-functional teams. One year: Leading/facilitating all types of project meetings, including pre/post meeting activities. One year: Comprehensive and increasing level of complex implementation experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated success in leading initiatives in a complex organization.
