Project Manager - Practice Efficiency

This position is responsible for managing completion of quality improvement projects within the Providence Medical Group (PMG) specifically related to development, validation, pilot, implementation and spread of new standards. This position may manage all aspects of one or more projects as an advisor or leader, with direct accountability for project execution, to the executive sponsor or senior PMG leadership. Responsible for planning the tasks associated with successful project completion, if acting as the leader, or working with a leader to help the team function more effectively.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree Plus 2 years experience in project management, information technologies, quality improvement, change management, healthcare administration, or clinical field or Associate's Degree Plus 4 years experience. Or equivalent educ/experience. 6 years experience. 5 years Experience in healthcare, outpatient medical clinic setting. Experienced in QA/testing of workflows, preferably in an electronic medical record environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

upon hire: Certification in health care quality or project management. Experienced in drafting training materials including flow charts, job aids, and associated workflows documentation. Experienced in developing and using Webinars as a vehicle for communication and training.
