Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented PD&E Project Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to serve our best clients in the industry to deliver challenging PD&E projects.
Candidates MUST live within a commutable distance of a Parsons office location within Florida.

What You'll Be Doing:

Utilize industry experience and knowledge of client to assist with pursuit strategiesIdentify key pursuitsLead pursuit efforts (pre-sale, teaming, proposal, interview, presentations, etc.)Scope development/refinementNegotiationsTeam (internal/external) collaboration and coordination during project deliveryMonitoring and mentoring of staffLeading internal/external progress meetingsManagement of scope, schedule, and budgetIdentification of opportunities for follow-up work

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Incumbent must possess experience in delivering Major FDOT PD&E projects (new alignment, new interchange, interchange modifications, major capacity, reconstruction and bridge replacement).Candidates for this role should have previous experience in delivering projects from concept to LDCA for Type 1 and Type 2 CEs, EA’s and/or EIS’sDemonstrated experience identifying and targeting PD&E PursuitsDemonstrated experience leading pursuit efforts including development of teaming, critical path schedule, and innovative ideas that will result in a win.Experience executing the PD&E work including serving as PM and client interface and coordination with all PD&E disciplines/subs to assure smooth delivery of the project on time and within budget.Previous experience negotiating PD&E contracts with the client and subs including development of staff hour estimates, detailed schedule commitments, and fee proposals.Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical/business field and typically 12+ years of related work experience is required.Proven ability to perform in a management capacity.Excellent writing and oral communications skills.Strong business acumen and proven experience in management of staff resulting in profitable projects and favorable FDOT grades.In-depth knowledge of FDOT PD&E Manual, and associated state and federal guidelines/requirements such as ETDM, EST, SWEPT, PSEE, LRE, etc.Report development skills.

Salary Range: 

$117,000.00 - $210,600.00
