Project Manager (Public Wi-Fi Project) (Contract) (CPT)

They are looking for a Project Manager to take full ownership of the Public Wi-Fi project, providing service to around 500,000 citizens per month across 1,600 sites. This role will involve managing the project from start to finish, including planning, stakeholder engagement, risk management, budgeting, reporting, and ensuring quality control.   DUTIES: Key Responsibilities: Manage the Public Wi-Fi project from initiation to completion. Develop and execute project plans, ensuring milestones are met. Oversee project risk management, ensuring timely issue resolution. Coordinate stakeholder engagement with government departments and service providers. Track project costs and assist in budget planning and billing analytics. Ensure the project aligns with best practices, industry standards, and compliance requirements.   REQUIREMENTS:   Minimum Requirements: Experience: Minimum 5 years of project management experience in public Wi-Fi or similar infrastructure projects. Education: A tertiary qualification or certification at NQF Level 6 or higher relevant to the role (e.g., Project Management, ICT, Telecommunications).   Skills: Strong analytical and numeric skills for budgeting and billing. Excellent stakeholder management and coordination abilities. Ability to manage multiple moving parts within a large-scale project.  Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, PMP, Prince2).
