The Project Manager (Accreditation and Regulatory Affairs) will support accreditation and regulatory functions of Kennedy Krieger Institute to ensure continuous compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements including but not limited to, The Joint Commission (TJC), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), and State/Local Department of Health (DOH) standards, regulations, and law.

 

Responsibilities

1. Completes proactive monitoring of documentation and the physical environment across all accredited Kennedy Krieger locations.
2. Performs data analyses, develops reports, and creates visual presentations of findings using a variety of reporting tools, such as Excel, PowerPoint, approved databases, etc., as needed.
3. Supports efforts to educate Institute faculty and staff on topics related to compliance requirements and survey logistics.
4. Supports ongoing gap analyses that assess compliance with new or existing requirements.
5. Works with staff and leaders to reach compliance when noncompliance is identified.
6. Supports preparations for survey activity including, but not limited to, creation of education materials, mock survey schedules, command center organization, document collection, and scheduling of survey activities.
7. Supports survey activity during survey days both in the command center and with the survey team.
8. Supports department leaders in post survey response process by assisting or leading development of action plans.
9. Creates and maintains audit tools related to the accreditation process.
10. Attends and participates in identified Institute meetings and committees.
11. Ensures equity, diversity, and inclusion are embedded in the accreditation processes.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must have access to reliable mode of transportation to participate in occasional business across the state of Maryland.
• Licensed or certified in a healthcare related field is preferred.

 

EDUCATION:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university required.
• Master’s degree in a public health, healthcare administration, or health care discipline is preferred, or three years of equivalent work experience.

 

EXPERIENCE:
Three years of previous experience working in a healthcare clinical setting is preferred.

Minimum pay range USD $61,845.47/Yr. Maximum pay range USD $109,392.40/Yr.
