The Project Manager will join a dynamic team managing a diverse portfolio of data science projects, research initiatives, and precision medicine efforts within the Providence Clinical Innovation Institute (PCII). This role is pivotal in advancing data science, genomics, precision medicine, and machine learning initiatives, while driving iterative development, fostering continuous feedback, and ensuring high-quality deliverables through enhanced collaboration among research, clinical, and technical teams.

Their leadership is key in integrating these efforts into a cohesive whole, supporting a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

The Project Manager plans, implements, and manages data science and data infrastructure projects supporting advanced analytics and research. They develop implementation strategies, maintain timelines and budgets, and engage stakeholders across the organization.

With expertise in Agile methodologies, including sprint planning and Kanban, and Project Management Professional (PMP) principles, the Project Manager optimizes workflows and manages Agile Boards using Azure DevOps. Additional responsibilities include managing vendor relationships, mentoring teams, and identifying and implementing process improvements and strategies to remove barriers to project completion.

Required qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or 3-4 years of closely related experience managing projects.  2 years Research/grant/healthcare administration experience or closely related experience.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's Degree in Social Sciences, Public Policy, Public Health, Business, or related field. or 3-4 years of closely related experience managing projects.  upon hire: Project Management Professional certification or equivalent upon hire: CRA, CCRP, RAC or CFRA 5 years Research/grant/healthcare administration experience
