Rate of Pay:           The salary range for this position in Sacramento, CA   is $119,900.00 – 162,000.00 per year and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. Duties: Responsible for the planning and execution of all operation goals and tasks established for the Trainset integration including design, procurement, manufacturing, commissioning, and customer acceptance. Drive project schedule for design, project milestones, vehicle delivery and acceptance. Proactively manage the working packages such as contractual deliverables, document control and leads in design & status meetings with the customer. Conduct internal meetings and track action items with internal stakeholders for the working packages. Drive customer meetings and negotiations for changes in scope, cost and schedule and takes minutes of the meeting with action items. Monitor and control project scope, schedule, budget, risks and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Effectively communicate and manage work package and sub-project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. Drive the collaborative work between different Siemens entities in complex environment to deliver a complete integrated product which fulfills the customer requirements for a contract including both rolling stock and customer services scope. Develop and maintain customer relationships. Develop and deliver monthly project reports, customer progress reports, customer change proposals, and presentations to management and internal / external customers. Pro-actively identify and resolve issues/conflicts within the project team. Support customer sales channel activities. Direct Contract, Claims and collaborate with Commercial PM to drive the project to technical and commercial success. Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors; influence them to take positive actions to forward the project in their assigned scope.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, or a related field and 24 months of experience in the job offered or in a Control Engineering-related occupation.

Position requires experience in the following:

1.                Working with Trainset integration and control systems such as intercity, commuter or high-speed rail applications

2.                Directing customer interface

3.                Resolving technical (mechanical and electrical) and support resolution.

4.                Technical experience with system integration

5.                Change management

6.                Working with software change and release process

7.                Driving qualification testing on customer or test track.

25% international travel required. Telecommuting permitted within commutable distance. [HYBRID role]
