Project Manager/Scientific Biotherapeutics: The Project Manager will be responsible for overall management and delivery of multiple projects. They will work closely with the customer to ensure that the scope and direction of each project are on target and on schedule. In this critical position, the Project Manager will coordinate and support the Biotherapeutics division including the Sales, Marketing, while fulfilling Project Management Functions, supporting revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
ResponsibilitiesEssential Position Responsibilities:
Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals.Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.Set and continually manage project expectations with internal team members and other stakeholders.Plan, schedule and track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables using appropriate tools.Provide input to project postmortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.The project manager should be comfortable working with both internal and external team members at different locations in a cross functional and effective manner.Assisting the biotherapeutics team on constructing quotations.Other Skills/Abilities
Demonstrates: strong conceptual and analytical skills; success in working on high impact cross-functional teams; strong decision making and problem solving skills highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal skills with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment required.Knowledge of technical issues in the areas of immunochemistry, flow cytometry and genomics is a plus.Presentation - Presents clearly and informatively, easily maintaining audience attention and responding to audience needs; Able to facilitate discussion, progress effectively, and manage audience as needed.

Adherence to laboratory health and safetyAdherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Adherence to applicable company policies and guidelines Adherence to federal and/or local regulations as applicable Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. 2 years’ experience in project management. Previous experience in a scientific setting, especially in biotherapeutics is a plus. Proficient in all Microsoft Office Programs including, but not limited to: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, Power Point, Access. Detail oriented, works well under pressure, ability to multi-task and handle consistent workflow. Good listening skills and retention/memory. Experience in project management process improvement to collaboratively perform analysis, establish direction, determine success criteria, evaluate alternatives, acquire tools, develop process improvements and measure their effectiveness. Ability to facilitate small and large sized groups. Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills appropriate to all levels of the organization.
Additional Requirements
Ability to multi-task and participate in multiple research studies concurrently. Ability to function effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere and work independently when necessary.Plan assigned workload on a daily basis and effectively schedule multiple assignments.Ability to produce high quality data while working under the pressure of strict deadlines.Overtime, weekend and holiday work as required.Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
*This position could be offered at different levels for candidates who qualify with a combination of advanced levels of education and/or years of experience. The salary range will adjust along with the level of the role to match the person’s relevant experience and/or education level.
