Description Looking for a Project Manager for their Security Division. Someone who can lead this segment of the project that they've been awarded and serve as the expert on-site for it. This position needs to have three main standards out of an ideal candidate. Technical Needs: Understanding cabling and the needs for wiring when it comes to access control projects. There is not a need here for a specific access control or camera system, rather having a general knowledge of multiple systems fits well. Looking for someone able to drive that scope of work. Need to be able to identify different types of cables (18.2/18.6) Understanding composite cable Plenum cable (Where are you going to use it vs where are you not going to use it?) Shielded vs Unshielded cable Don't need specific certifications but would be nice to have them, just need experience installing devices and wiring panels. Financial Needs: Budgets and Cost to Complete are very important to this customer. Finding someone who not only can interpret the current work that is in play but also execute change orders as well. Other duties inside of Financial include: Cost to Complete (Day to Day/ Week to Week) Understanding if Daily Production is hitting the mark Providing Financial and Risk Logs Internal and External. (What's been billed/ What needs to be billed. Providing change orders and RFIs) Understanding Contract Lingo (Scope of work: Specifically T&M and Lump Sum) Scheduling Needs: Understanding the difference between not being behind schedule but out of sequence. Need to be able to drive a schedule and deliver on it for both the internal scope of work and the customer! Skills Project management, access control, budgeting, scheduling coordinating, Construction, Cabling Top Skills Details Project management,access control,budgeting,scheduling coordinating Additional Skills & Qualifications IES does not use a specific tool but has their own operating system that they use. Ask them if they've used enterprise level budget/scheduling tools and they should have a good answer to that. Experience Level Expert Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $43.00/hr.
