Project Manager-Siemens Real Estate (Midwest, East Coast, or Texas)

You will need to be located in Midwest, East Coast, or Texas.

As a Project Manager, your responsibilities would include, but not be limited to:

Project Planning and Execution

Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, cost estimates, and resource allocation. Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met. Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to ensure successful completion. Plan and manage technical projects, ensuring they align with overall business objectives. Coordinate Siemens office requirements for furniture, space planning, IT, security, and other cross functional partners. Engagement of and coordination with Siemens EH&S, Security, IT, and AV project managers. Coordination, ordering, and installation oversight of furniture and equipment for projects.

Stakeholder Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and other stakeholders. Facilitate regular meetings to update stakeholders on project status and address any concerns. Ensure clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Risk Management

Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Conduct regular risk assessments and implement contingency plans as needed. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Execute local Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) aspects to minimize risks and ensure legally compliant operations, fostering a zero-harm culture.

Financial Oversight

Manage project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and financial objectives are met. Prepare and present financial reports to senior management. Approve expenditures and ensure all financial documentation is accurate and up to date. Develop detailed cost estimates for various types of projects, including expansions, fit-outs, lease end dates, maintenance, and new locations. Develop and implement technical concepts/projects to reduce costs.

Quality Assurance

Ensure all project deliverables meet the highest quality standards. Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks. Address any quality issues promptly and effectively.

Team Leadership

Lead and motivate project teams, providing guidance and support as needed. Foster a collaborative and productive team environment. Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.

Compliance

Ensure adherence to construction principles, guidelines, and processes. Steer and ensure adherence to local building standards and regulations, including proper documentation and required permits.

Portfolio Management

Manage a portfolio of 15-20 projects, ensuring each project is delivered on time and within budget.

Project Communications

Develop and implement communication plans to ensure all stakeholders are informed of project progress and changes. Prepare and distribute regular project updates, reports, and presentations. Facilitate effective communication between project teams, clients, and other stakeholders. Address any communication issues promptly to maintain project alignment and stakeholder satisfaction.

Basic Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in real estate, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in real estate, with a minimum of 5 years in project management within commercial real estate or construction sector. 7+ years of experience of successfully managing mid to large-scale projects. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project) with a minimum of 5 years of experience using it to develop project schedules and show the critical path. 7+ years of experience in commercial/light warehouse construction to include mechanical, electrical, plumbing, building automation systems, and tenant improvement projects. Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications. 10+ years of experience in strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 10+ years of experience using SharePoint. 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Teams for collaborating across multiple groups. Ability and willingness to travel as needed for project site visits and stakeholder meetings. Must be authorized to work in the US without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Requirements:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Solid understanding of financial management and budgeting. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Certifications

PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred. LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) accreditation is a plus.

The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
