About the team:
Working as part of the Banking Solutions Chief of Staff team, you’ll be responsible for building and overseeing the execution of the Banking Communications & Engagement plan to drive a deeper understanding of our strategy and successes. Our Banking Solutions team generates about 70% of FIS' total revenue and supports clients providing core, digital, wealth, retirement, payments, and commercial & back-office solutions and services.
About the role:
As the Banking Solutions Communications & Engagement Manager, you’ll lead a team responsible for connecting with the segment’s more than 25K colleagues and partners. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional partners in the Banking lines of business, Corporate Communications, Sales, Development and Client Experience to ensure messaging is timely, relevant and accurate.
What you'll be doing:
Analyzes communications policies, procedures, and standards for efficiency and effectiveness based on the needs of the target audiences and select appropriate communications media.Develops and manages the execution of strategic plans and the implementation of communications tactics. Drives strategic communications plan across multiple channels, including newsletters, organizational announcements, invitations and ad hoc messages to support company and segment objectives.Works closely with stakeholders to consult on appropriate messaging, timing, audience and channel to meet objectives.Plans and drives execution of engagement calendar of virtual, in-person and hybrid events, including Town Halls, leadership meetings, on-campus activities and more.Communicate company philosophy, policy and marketing strategy to employees and outside resources.Consults with internal and external clients to develop appropriate communications solutions and utilizes communications methods and techniques to develop strategic approaches to meet client objectives.Develops and manages the execution of strategic plans and the implementation of communications tactics and identifies appropriate communications vehicles, e.g., bulletins, magazines, videos. Creates agendas, PowerPoint presentations, talking points and executive prep materials for events.Directs the development of communications vehicles, e.g., advertising, public relations, new releases, press conferences, feature stories, news-media interviews, magazines, newsletters, bulletins, management briefs, videos, brochures, direct mail, slide presentations, special events, marketing booklets, trade shows, verbal and written presentations.Coordinates projects and oversees all phases of production, e.g., planning, writing and , producing with internal and/or /external vendors partners., e.g., advertising agencies, freelance writers, video production companies. May negotiate contracts with vendor management to support communications needs, objectives, budget and time frames.Manages and/or writes, edits and produces communication materials as necessary while ensuring quality standards are met.What you bring:
Bachelor’s degree in communications or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experienceProficiency in communication practices and techniques and knowledge of project management methods and techniquesHigh attention to detail and strong time management skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple competing deliverablesExperience supporting a senior executive and communicating to a broad, diverse audience is essentialPrior experience leading a high performing, cross-functional team and leveraging resources effectively and efficientlyThe ability to think outside the box and deliver creative solutions with an eye for design, with the ability to tell stories creatively using graphicsProficiency with MS Office Suite, especially PowerPoint, Word and ExcelAdded bonus if you have:
