Project Manager/Sr. Consultant
Description We are offering a contract for a Project Manager/Sr. Consultant role in the public sector located in San Francisco, California. As a Project Manager/Sr. Consultant, you will be expected to manage and execute strategic initiatives, foster team collaboration, and ensure compliance with the strategic plan framework. Responsibilities: • Lead the development and execution of action plans in line with strategic initiatives • Initiate and foster a sense of collaboration among different team members • Supervise the creation of public-facing progress reports and the development of tools such as apps to highlight progress • Ensure deliverables and reporting align with the strategic plan framework • Assume a leadership role in meetings, prepare presentations, and provide coaching to team members • Carry out day-to-day tasks, including tracking high-level projects and implementing project methodologies • Show a strong proficiency in project management, including the development and monitoring of action plans • Show familiarity with government processes and agencies, with a preference for driving projects in a government setting • Use strong interpersonal skills to foster a collaborative working environment and resolve conflicts • Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to align projects with organizational goals • Engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels • Prepare and present reports, proposals, and project updates • Show in-depth knowledge of public administration and processes • Ensure projects adhere to environmental laws and regulations • Analyze environmental data and metrics, and use data to inform decision-making and strategic planning • Create comprehensive reports and documentation systems.
