Basic Job Functions:
Vulcraft Alabama is seeking a leader for the position of PM Supervisor. The candidate will lead and develop a capable and motivated team that achieves the excellence necessary to meet the technical and commercial needs of our customers. This will require the candidate to lead with a clear vision, strategy and empower their team to execute and meet all objectives as we enhance partnerships through innovation, solutions and connections. Additionally, the successful candidate must be able to work collaboratively throughout the division leadership team to inspire the entire operation. The PM Supervisor is expected to develop strong relationships with both internal and external customers, as well as invest in the development of the team. PM Supervisor is a member of the division’s scheduling and forecasting teams and as such must possess a strong understanding of how the division makes money.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Two years or more of leadership experience
· Ability and willingness to travel
· Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
· Previous experience with SAP ERP system
· Willing to relocate to other Nucor locations for appropriate advancement opportunities if available
