Job DescriptionOverview:
As a Project Manager level II, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating distribution projects within our manufacturing company. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to our customers.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning:Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessments.Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.Project Execution:Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective measures.Coordinate with logistics teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth product flow.Track and report project performance against key metrics.Communication:Maintain effective communication channels with all project stakeholders, including team members, management, and external partners.Provide regular project updates and status reports.Risk Management:Identify and assess project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement contingency plans.Continuous Improvement:Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.Team Collaboration:Foster a collaborative work environment and support team members in achieving project goals. QualificationsQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.1-2 years of experience in project management or a related field.Strong organizational and time management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana).Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Preferred Skills:
Experience in the manufacturing industry.Knowledge of transportation and warehousing operations.Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).The Compensation range for this position is approximately $69k - $90k and will be based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and education.
