Job Description

Project Manager Sustaining Engineering is responsible for leading Life Cycle Management (LCM) projects for a product, technology, or system following commercial introduction in the market.

In this role, you are responsible for:

- Planning, leading, and tracking LCM project or sub-project.

- Managing incremental changes or portfolio extensions supporting current business

- Achieving project scope and objectives while balancing schedule, cost, quality, requirements and keeping abreast of developments in project management tools and processes as well as technical domain

- Managing projects ensuring execution is in line with project guidelines and directives

- Preparing and implementing single project or sub-projects for the Life Cycle Management (LCM) phase of an integral project, in accordance with agreed conditions on specification, time, cost and staffing

- Leading a small project team (of approximately 5 team members)

You're the right fit if you have a customer-first attitude and the following:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, PM, or other relevant discipline   

- 5+ years of relevant working experience, including experience of owning/leading workstreams within projects from idea through implementation

- Knowledge of plastic injection molding; experience with design transfer to mass production; and strong experience with design controls

- Broad knowledge of planning methods, and estimation techniques (resources, time and risks) for the relevant technical/functional discipline.

- Excellent communication and people skills: ability to engage with diverse stakeholders

- Proven leadership abilities to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams, foster collaboration, and drive accountability for projects deliverables.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position is $85,000 to $135,000, annually.  The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.    

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.  Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.  Details about our benefits can be found here.   

At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position.  For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Bothell, WA.
