Project Manager - Systems
Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Project Manager - Systems in the manufacturing industry, based in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. The role will involve supporting a team with the implementation of Workday, specifically focusing on Financials and Timekeeping. Responsibilities: • Support the team with the Workday implementation project, specifically focusing on the Financials and Timekeeping modules. • Use your Workday experience to ensure the project is implemented successfully and on time. • Provide technical support to the team as and when required. • Work closely with the team to understand their needs and provide solutions accordingly. • Use your Microsoft Excel skills to maintain and analyze data as required. • Take a proactive approach to problem-solving, identifying issues and implementing solutions. • Keep all stakeholders informed of project progress and any issues that arise. • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality and accuracy. • Continually seek to improve processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity. • Act as a point of contact for any queries or concerns relating to the project. Requirements • Proven experience in a project management role within the manufacturing industry. • Proficiency in Workday HCM and Workday Payroll systems. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and visualization. • Strong knowledge of project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools. • Demonstrated ability to lead high performing teams. • Excellent problem-solving skills with a knack for making strategic project-level decisions. • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. • Strong knowledge of system infrastructure and architectural standards. • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Information Systems, or a related field. • Relevant detail oriented certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are a plus. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Ability to build and maintain relationships with team members and stakeholders.
