**Job Title: Project Manager-Trainer** **Reports to:** Project Controls Supervisor **Department:** Transmission Project Controls, Cost & Support **Job Description** This position is responsible for the successful development, validation, and delivery of training programs for Transmission Project Management employees at Georgia Power. The position’s primary focus is on Project Management Learning Paths, including the gated process, change management, and project management principles and controls, while also supporting overall Power Delivery cross-functional training efforts. This role involves managing and coordinating project management and controls training courses, collaborating with SOCO SMEs on content and learning objectives, and developing and recruiting instructors. This position will partner with applicable committees and departmental management, as well as company peers, to deliver quality and innovative training to prepare our employees for project management and controls positions. Additionally, the role includes gathering lessons learned outcomes to incorporate in future training and reviewing job descriptions and responsibilities for consistency and updated skills. This position will be responsible for onboarding and refresher training. **Job Requirements** Education and Experience + A four-year accredited university is preferred OR non-technical degree. + PMP or other project management certification is preferred. + Previous experience as a trainer or curriculum developer is preferred + Experience with electric system design, construction, maintenance, and operating procedures is preferred + Experience with hybrid learning environments is a plus Job Responsibilities + Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Transmission Project Management, responsible for curriculum development review and class planning. Facilitate training classes and co-instruct classes with SMEs as applicable.
