Kimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Senior Project Manager to expand our Surface Water practice in Denver, CO.

Responsibilities This position leads business development efforts, manages relationships with key clients, and oversees all project tasks while mentoring the growth of younger staffHas a great deal of autonomy to lead, direct, and grow their businessPursue opportunities that fuel their professional passion and contribute to Kimley-Horn's successLeading business development efforts while leading tasks utilizing AutoCAD, GIS, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, stormwater planning, storm drain and BMP designHas a passion for resiliency and sustainable infrastructure engineeringLeadership responsibilities include:Operating with integrity and sound business principalsProviding vision, business planning and strategyEstablishing goalsBuilding and maintaining positive client relationshipsHaving open communication with your partners and teamGrowing and leading a Surface Water (Hydraulics/Hydrology) practiceOur Project Managers/Practice Builders manage their projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, grow and mentor staff, and act as a positive leader and mentorThe successful candidate will be given a great deal of autonomy to lead, direct, and grow their businessWith success, this individual will enjoy the rewards of an impressive bonus program with the potential to advance to ownership Qualifications 10+ years of Civil Engineering and design experienceRegistered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license Client contacts and relationships with local municipalities, area counties, water management authorities and local, regional, state agenciesExcellent communication, leadership, and technical skillsStrong desire and ability to be engaged with clients solving project problemsAbility to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organizationAbility to manage and mentor staff and direct resources effectively in a positive mannerDemonstrated ability to manage projects profitablyExperience writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgets for projected work

Salary Range:
