HDR is seeking Water / Wastewater Project Managers to support our expanding Water Business group in a variety of locations. The primary duties of the role are to:
Plan and manage all aspects of small to medium single-discipline planning, as well as large, complex multi-disciplinary projects Independently coordinate work of engineers and balance planning/design team throughout entire project lifespanEstablish client relations and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetingsParticipate in reviews with various governing agenciesConduct work sessions for design development and contract document in conjunction with other staffCoordinate workload throughout entire project development, and ensure completion of documents on scheduleTrack financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to scheduleWork with Business/Accounting Manager or Project Controller and Business Group Manager for project reviewsPerform technical analyses and report preparationLead client project and technical meetings and/or workshopsProvide leadership and mentoring for water/wastewater engineersPerform other duties as neededPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree is a plus7 years of water / wastewater experienceKeywords: Water, Wastewater, Engineering, Design, Management, Construction, Consulting, Engineering, Civil, Mechanical, Environmental
Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering 7 years related experienceA minimum 2 years project management experienceProfessional Engineer (PE) licenseMS Office and MS Project experience is required (Access experience would be plus) Demonstrated leadership skillsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
