Currently, we are seeking experienced Project Managers, with Mainframe, .NET and/or J2EE experience, for the Metropolitan Atlanta, GA area.

Position Description (scope of work or brief narrative):
Plan for and ensure quality and timeliness of implementation of activities related to design, build and implementation of work product; contribute in risk planning, requirements elicitation, analysis of architecture, creation and review of design; coordinate with client and internal team on scoping, status updates; help supervisor with estimation, staffing analysis and developing solutions; mentor team on project competencies; assign and review tasks for work implementation with the 
objective of ensuring the highest levels of services offerings to clients in relevant technology domains within the guidelines, policies and norms of Client Public Services.

Basic Qualifications:
•Minimum of 9 years of IT experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a Technology Lead, or equivalent, role for software maintenance projects. 
•Strong Project Management and Client interfacing skills. 
•Ability to manage teams working in a diverse, multiple stakeholder environment. 
•Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive, relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education. 
•Must be a US citizen.

Preferred Qualifications:
•At least 5 years of experience in Java/J2EE/Struts, Mainframe Technologies or .NET. 
•Exposure to the Software Engineering processes and tools used in development and maintenance projects. 
•Current ADP II security clearance. 
•DoD / Tricare experience 
•PMP and ITIL certifications. 
•Experience working within Insurance domains. 
•Knowledge of the pre-sales process.

The job entails sitting, as well as working, at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
