About the role:
We are looking for a talented business and program leader to join our Urology Project Management Organization (PMO).  We have an exciting opportunity for a Sr Program Manager that will lead a large, complex program within the Urology Division. In this role, you will lead a global, cross-functional team to execute and deliver a development program to enhance a commercial device. This role will have high level organizational visibility. We are seeking an experienced candidate who has demonstrated medical device project management and effective global, cross-functional leadership experience.

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week.

Your Responsibilities Include:

Provide Program Management leadership of a large, complex program within the Urology Division, leveraging common divisional processes and tools. Influence global stakeholders, cross-functional managers and teams to develop strategies, drive alignment, deliver results. Build team ownership and commitment to program and project plans. Partner and collaborate with a variety of functions, regions, and business resources to achieve program objectives. This includes identifying resources required for project activities, budget management, timeline development, risk management, communication plans and business case assessments. Communicate progress and escalate asks to global cross-functional leadership teams including Sustaining and the Franchise Leadership Teams.  Work cross-functionally, motivating teams to identify and mitigate risks, solve problems, resolve roadblocks, and adopt solutions in difficult scenarios. Prioritize, delegate, and manage tasks among projects and team members, as appropriate, to drive execution of portfolio or program deliverables. Support development, implementation, and revision of detailed project plans. Lead teams to execute and deliver programs on time and on budget with a Patient First mentality. Ensure Boston Scientific policies and practices are followed.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience with medical device product development: market requirement definition, design, analysis, testing, regulatory submissions, clinical evaluation, and launch. PMP, CSM, SAFe Scrum master or industry equivalent certification.

Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

 

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
